Location so close to Vik's beach, the mountain where travelers come for a night or two and get to meet in the common area for coffee or so, and guesthouse Reynir. And a 10-minute walk from Reynisfjara...

Positive, The view from my room was amazing 🌅 The place was super clean and the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. We also had a nice, quiet family room that kept warm despite the chilly weather. I highly recommend staying here.

The venue was absolutely amazing, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the location was particularly good short walk to a place surrounded by beautiful landscapes, a tourist attraction, and the mountain where travelers come for a night or two and get to meet in the common area for coffee or so. The staff was superfriendly and extremely friendly, as well as owner. Large rooms with 2 single beds, felt like home;)))

Modern feel in shared spaces. Conveniently located for the black sand beach, with plenty of showers available .
Rooms lack effective soundproofing, noisy due to road traffic. Basic amenities compared to other options in the area, with bathroom arrangements not matching expectations and poor WiFi coverage.

We enjoyed fine views of Dyrhólaey from our clean room. Shared bathrooms created long wait times, especially during peak hours.

The kitchen was well-stocked, allowing us to
Prepare simple meals . Cleanliness was excellent, and the staff were genuinely kind, offering us coffee upon arrival. There was limited space in the fridge, challenging with peak occupancy.

The view from our room was seriously fine 🌅 Everything was super clean. We enjoyed the shared kitchen too. The only downside was the lack of carpet for coziness, but it was warm enough!

Super close to the black sand beach. So we caught the sunrise without the crowds! The shared kitchen had enough supplies for a cozy meal, and the whole place was clean and cute.

The rooms were delightfully quiet. You could actually hear yourself think! There's a spacious common area for lounging, and it's a hop away from the beach. Perfectly clean and the owner is a gem!
But darling, the check-in time is at 4! What kind of rule is that? I could've sworn I was on an episode of 'waiting for a room'!

The guesthouse's proximity to the Black Sand Beach was a huge plus, nice for amazing views right from our room. Cooking facilities were well-equipped. The communal bathrooms created a bit of a challenge during peak times, and we faced some cleanliness issues in shared kitchen areas. Despite the warmth inside compared to the cold outside, the limited shared facilities were less than ideal.

It was just a great fit for a brief hiatus in Vik i Myrdal with great value for money. The owner was super helpful, giving us the wifi password even after hours. Look for rooms with ocean views. You can hear the waves at night.
